Cloudforest Peru Named Finalist at Incosmetics Global 2022 Paris

Cloudforest Peru, sponsored by the Peruvian government Business arm, Prom Peru, was chosen to attend Incosmetics Global in Paris in April 2022. 

Medical Advisor, Dr David Hepburn, spoke at the conference on the opening day, chronicling the origins of Cloudforest Peru and remarking on the health benefits of Omega 3s to the skin. 

CEO Nancy Trujillo commented “While we are primarily a finished product company, we also strive to help Nueva Esperanza, the small pueblo who grow and harvest the hero ingredient for Amazon Silk, the remarkable nut Plukenetia Huayllabanbana (Super Sacha Inchi). As such we featured the anut oil to the amazement of many cosmetic ingredient companies in France and Europe. We also clarified the difference between simple Sacha Inchi and the unique Super Sacha Inchi that we use in Amazon Silk.”

Cloudforest Peru was subsequently short listed by Incosmetics Global for the Green Ingredient Award of 2022.
